This Is The Weekend To Pin
May 29, 2026
Prime Day Announced for June
Quick Answer
Now is the time to get to work. We've all watched Prime Day happen. We know what goes on sale: air fryers, robot vacuums, coffee makers, instant pots, fitness gear, home organization, bedding, kitchen gadgets.
If you havenât heard, Amazonâs Prime Day will be towards the end of June this year. The actual dates have been shared with top-tier creators but they aren't permitted to share them publicly yet. From all the buzz, I am spending this weekend pinning.
If you remember back to this article
this little sentence may stick in your mind:
âA new pin takes thirty days to gain traction.â AT LEAST
Now is the time to get to work. What does that look like? You probably don't have a list of Prime Day deals. Unless you're a Gold-tier creator or above, Amazon doesn't share that ahead of time. That's fine. We've all watched Prime Day happen. We know what goes on sale: air fryers, robot vacuums, coffee makers, instant pots, fitness gear, home organization, bedding, kitchen gadgets. What do you know always goes on sale in your niche? What are your friends waiting to buy? Thatâs what you want to create pins for.
Can You Pin Prime Day Products You Donât Own?
Remember for offsite Associates sales, you do not have to have the product in hand. You donât need to have created a video for it. You can promote any product you want (well, mostly). So, this is where you get creative. Itâs a level playing field. You arenât competing against the big players for product samples. So, letâs talk about how to leverage that...
How Do You Optimize Pinterest Boards for Prime Day?
Remember that the more you can organize your boards, the more Pinterest can understand and recommend them. Here is a sample of what my boards look like â but don't copy my titles. Pinterest already associates them with my account. Build yours to reflect your own niche.

And then if you were to click into any of them there are categories under them. Here is an example of my categories under Seasonal Decor, Recipes & Holiday Ideas.

I donât give Pinterest a chance to get confused about what I am pinning!
I am going to walk you through my thought process as I do this. But here is what I want you to do while we look at my strategy:
Think of a niche that you already have a board for that is likely to have some good products for sale on Prime Day.
Open up Creator Connections
Start to search for products in that niche and then come back here to see how to make this work.
Make sure the end date of the CC runs well beyond Prime Day.
Accept the campaign for any product you make a pin for. I go the extra step and request the product if I don't already have it. That usually leads to them sending it so I can make a shoppable video.

What Is a Single Pin?
Single pins are exactly what they sound like. One product, one image, one link.
First I have to admit that this product is a terrible example because there is no CC campaign for the product đ

In this simple pin (which is an actual picture of the shell in my house) I am going to link to the product page on Amazon, making sure to use Posttap to create a deeplink. If these terms are confusing you, stop right now and back-up to this post:

Two Types of Amazon Income â And They Donât Work the Same Way
Remember to put your disclosure in the description on all of these pins!
How Do You Use Collage Pins for Prime Day?

And, again, if you donât remember how to compliantly do this, stop right now and back up to this post:

Now this collage pin I could link in a few ways. If you have Amazon Integration with Pinterest you could tag each product Not every one does. You can also post the same photo on your storefront as a collage and tag the products there and link back to that storefront photo. You can also link back to an idea list but make sure every one of these products are in the list.
âYou must link each use of Program Content solely to the related product detail page or other relevant page of an Amazon Site.â
Create a Pin to Your Curation
If you have been wanting to get creative with a pin or create one on ChatGPT this is the perfect time because I donât use any products in these pins. These are not Amazon products. This is an AI generated theme.

This one I'm linking back to a curation that lives at the very top of my storefront with every video I have ever made that is coastal, any coastal photos and any coastal idea lists. Alternatively, if you donât have a curation, you can link it to a relevant idea list. Donât put Prime, Amazon or any of their branding on the pin. It is against the rules and you want this to be evergreen anyway.
How Often Should You Repost Pins for the Same Link?
If you are really going to work this niche, schedule multiple versions of the pins and schedule them out 3 days apart if it leads to the same link. This works really well for collages that lead to an idea list. I like to use this strategy and mix up the products in the collage as long as they are all on the list. If your pins go to different links you are good to post 5-10 a day but mix it in with genuine non affiliate links. We want to work, but also be a good member of the Pinterest community.
So, now you know what you are doing this weekend. Happy Pinning and apologize to your family for me. They will enjoy that commission check!

About Barb | Founder of Storefront Launch
Barb was working with brands before âcontent creatorâ was a job title.
Back in 2008, she helped develop branded Twitter parties: live, hashtag-based conversations that brought companies and consumers together. She helped turn those conversations into something brands could buy, then spent years pitching campaigns, recruiting paid bloggers, organizing events, and teaching other women how to use social media for business.
She was part of the original wave of âmommy bloggersâ (because apparently women building successful online businesses needed a cute little nickname). Her work included brand ambassador roles with Disney, Kraft, Verizon, and GMC.
Today, Barb brings that experienceâand a masterâs degree in educationâto Storefront Launch. She helps women make sense of Amazon Influencer, Walmart Creator, and affiliate marketing, with practical ways to earn from the content theyâre already creating. Less hype. More âokay, hereâs how you actually do it.â Because, to loosely quote Lin-Manuel Miranda, she was âin the room where it happen(ed).â
