How do I make a collage on my Amazon storefront?

Your storefront doesn't have to sit empty while you wait on video approvals.

Quick Answer

A collage is a curated image post, a group of products arranged visually on your storefront, each one automatically linked to your affiliate tag. Either way, look for Create Content and choose Collage. When it looks right, hit Save or Submit.

A: If you’re waiting on your first video approvals, this is a good use of the time. A collage is a curated image post, a group of products arranged visually on your storefront, each one automatically linked to your affiliate tag.

Before you build one, spend a few minutes shopping the items you want to feature. Open each product page and let it load fully. That puts them into your browsing history, which makes them easy to find when building the collage.

You can build a collage from your phone or from desktop. On desktop, go to Creator Central. On your phone, tap the person icon, scroll down to Your Storefront, and tap it. Either way, look for Create Content and choose Collage.

Pick a layout from the template section. Then tap or click Add Products and select Browsing History. Check the boxes next to the items you want. They’ll load into the collage on the left. Drag to rearrange.

To change the title, click the text box on the right and type what you want it to say. Keep it descriptive and specific. “Summer Outdoor Entertaining” or “Dog Gear for Large Breeds” works. Amazon does not allow superlatives, promotional language, or their trademarked terms in content titles. Skip words like “best,” “cheapest,” “number one,” “amazing,” “must-have,” “Amazon,” and “Prime.” Descriptive beats promotional every time, and it keeps your content out of review trouble.

When it looks right, hit Save or Submit. It goes into review and shows up on your storefront when approved.

Action:

  • Browse three to five products in a category you plan to create content in. Let each page load fully. Then go to Create Content and build your first collage today.

About Barb | Founder of Storefront Launch

Barb was working with brands before “content creator” was a job title.

Back in 2008, she helped develop branded Twitter parties: live, hashtag-based conversations that brought companies and consumers together. She helped turn those conversations into something brands could buy, then spent years pitching campaigns, recruiting paid bloggers, organizing events, and teaching other women how to use social media for business.

She was part of the original wave of “mommy bloggers” (because apparently women building successful online businesses needed a cute little nickname). Her work included brand ambassador roles with Disney, Kraft, Verizon, and GMC.

Today, Barb brings that experience—and a master’s degree in education—to Storefront Launch. She helps women make sense of Amazon Influencer, Walmart Creator, and affiliate marketing, with practical ways to earn from the content they’re already creating. Less hype. More “okay, here’s how you actually do it.” Because, to loosely quote Lin-Manuel Miranda, she was “in the room where it happen(ed).”
